USTA involvement in player development

There are caches out there that do more one on one teaching with kids and they are the real pioneers of how the player should be developed. This problem starts that these coaches cannot make as much money working individually with player as they would if they were running an academy. This is not their fault it’s the systems fault. For example it a coach develops a player from the beginning of their tennis career he is not compensated at all from any tennis federation. If anything particular tennis federation will get involved and probably convince player parents why some other better direction is necessary to further develop players skills. In my opinion exactly opposite should happen. The coach of this particular player should be contacted and asked if there is any way the tennis federation can help him to spend extra time with his player. This rarely happens of course.
